Looking for a way to get involved with a local art nonprofit? Chalk It Up is gearing up for its 34th annual Chalk It Up! Festival! "Chalk It Up was first established in 1991 through the hard work of local artists and community art supporters," Chalk It Up shares on its website. "Now in its 34th year, the Chalk It Up! Chalk Art & Music Festival celebrates our region’s arts and artists. Over the 3-day festival hundreds of artists, musicians, local craft and food vendors, and volunteers, with the financial support of donors and sponsors, join hands to provide this fun – and FREE – festival, promoting community pride, civic participation, and social connection." Their presentation on Big Day of Giving prizes outlined why they can help inspire philanthropy during giving days and what we've learned over the years.
