GIVE AWARDS, GET AWARDS. When we created the first ever Bell Awards for Taco Bell's Inaugural Live Más LIVE in Las Vegas over Super Bowl weekend, we didn't expect we'd be back to get one in return. Live Más LIVE took home the 2024 Grand Ex, the top prize at the Event Marketer Ex Awards, a show that celebrates excellence in experiential. Congrats to the unbelievable team at Taco Bell and the hundreds of individuals across a dozen plus agency partners that came together to make this thing sing.

Celebrate the behavior you want to see more of it. It seems like the obvious thing to do whether you're building a company or raising a child, yet most of the brands either ignore it or immediately take it to a transaction situation. "I pay you this much, and you do this for me." Biite took a different route on this one. We created the Bell Awards. When we saw Kai spontaneously professing his love for Taco Bell on WSL, we decided to... celebrate it — no strings attached, nor even dreaming about the possibility he would create an entire episode about us, entirely organically. So much so, if you check on Kai's Instagram, you will see it doesn't say "sponsored post" - because it wasn't. https://lnkd.in/gk_3BWy2 As a surfer, this one hit differently. I have tried to bring brands into the surfing culture many times. Little did I know it would happen the other way around. Ok, that was a first.😅 WWDC minus apple, plus cheese, and tortilla instead. It felt like the proper way to present all the innovations engineered inside the Taco Bell test kitchen to the world. That was Live Más LIVE. What an honor to be assigned to bring to life such a massive moment for the brand. Thank you to the visionary Taylor Montgomery, Sean Tresvant, Ashley Prollamante, and the entire Taco Bell team, for trusting and believing in Biite. Special thanks to my partner Alex Jacobs for driving and pushing it through the finish line with mastery. Thank you, Andy Haumersen, for keeping the vibes at an all-time high while juggling several projects within the project, including creating trophies in Belgium.
