This critical initiative will improve flood protection and stormwater management in the region. BKF is proud to contribute to San Bernardino County Flood Control District’s ongoing efforts to enhance water management and reduce flood risks. Celebrating our 110th anniversary, we are deeply thankful for our partnership with the Chamber San Mateo County. On behalf of our nearly 500 employees, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Chamber for this esteemed recognition. Our journey began in response to the 1906 earthquake, a time when communities desperately needed professional services to recover from the devastation. BKF's story traces back to 1915, when we opened our company in Redwood City and officially joined the Chamber in 1916. Over the next six decades, BKF continued to expand, completing numerous local and iconic projects, such as the development of Redwood Shores, Oracle Headquarters, and the redevelopment of Bay Meadows, to name just a few. There are a few places that BKF hasn't surveyed or engineered throughout the County. Still today, BKF remains woven into the fabric of this community, dedicating our time, talents, resources, and enthusiasm to make this the best place to live and work. Much of our success stems from our involvement with the Chamber, promoting a vibrant economy through active leadership and engagement with local businesses and communities.
