Our mission is to improve the lives of Black women by providing a place of refuge and support through advocacy, navigating systems, accessing resources, training, education as well as policy development and change. Our vision for Black women is that they be trusted experts of their own experiences, empowered to be catalyst for change, centered in policy and free from stigma, stereotypes and systemic oppression.

It truly was an honor to be in the room for our Vice President Kamala Harris’s visit to the East Side of Pittsburgh! Huge thanks to the Biden/Harris administration for the investment of 55 billion dollars for infrastructure nationwide and 200 million for PA to address lead in our pipes. Communities of color and low income communities deserve the investment! 👐🏽👏🏽 It was especially an honor to share to moment with my oldest granddaughter as I groom her to take the reins one day…legacy building!❤️🙂
