Last month, YWCA Greater Pittsburgh and Family Resources Pittsburgh staff gathered to celebrate Lights on Afterschool! The youth and caregivers of Family Resources Homewood North were able to experience coding first-hand by using Spheros, Coding Critters, and Finch. We all had a wonderful time! Thank you to Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time and Family Resources for partnering with us to help celebrate the week of Lights on Afterschool. 💡 #LightsonAfterschool

YWCA Greater Pittsburgh CEO Dr. Angela Reynolds spoke with Megan Rose, Program Director of Standing Firm, while attending impactful sessions on the medical, economic, and legal aspects of cultivating a climate for survivors to heal and thrive. YWCA GP board member Dr. Maya Indira Ragavan, Associate Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Research at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Pediatrics, also hosted a critical session on "Emerging Research, Accelerating Practice in Healing-Centered Engagement."
