Exciting News for Boston’s Entrepreneurs! Celtics stars Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday, alongside Lauren Holiday, have launched a groundbreaking accelerator program Bostonxchange to aid in closing the racial wealth gap in Boston. Through their partnership, 10 diverse, Boston-area entrepreneurs were selected to receive up to $100,000 in funding, along with mentorship and services from leading institutions like MIT, Harvard Business School, and Roxbury Community College. This accelerator focuses on the creative economy, supporting founders in areas like fashion, culinary arts, media, and entertainment. It’s part of a larger vision to generate $5 billion in generational wealth in Boston’s communities of color. These entrepreneurs are blazing trails, and it’s incredible to see Boston getting more attention as a hub for Black-owned businesses and creators! Big congratulations to the first cohort: Special shoutout to one of our valued partners The Little Cocoa Bean Company and their amazing founder Tracy Skelly for being one of the recipients.
