    Join us in congratulating Nick Bond on his 6th year anniversary at Blue Wheel. Nick has had QUITE the year. He got married! Planned and took a honeymoon that made everyone low-key jealous! And he joined the Sales Team! Nick is a wonderful omni-channel strategist and arguably a better person. He supports his peers and raises the level of everyone's game around him. Nick started at Blue Wheel as a Sr. Account Manager and he was hands on keyboards for some of our biggest and most complex accounts. He served as a Director and then VP of Brand Strategy before making the leap (honestly just a hop) to sales. Nick works throughout our sales process to equip our team (and the brands we are pitching) with best-in-class omni-channel sales-strategy (that's a lot of hyphens!). Please help give a "Cheers To Six Years" to Nick Bond!

    Omni-Channel Digital Commerce - From Click To Ship

    I had the pleasure of speaking at the 2024 BrightTower #BrightFORWARD Conference, where I sat on a panel discussing trends in commerce enablement alongside some incredible visionaries in the space - Rachel Tipograph, Piyush Chaudhari, Colin Barclay, and of course moderated by the one and only Juan D. Mejia. It was an engaging day bringing together with a mix of strategic and financial folks to discuss innovation and forward-looking trends as well as the future of B2B marketing, commerce, and tech.   I had the opportunity to share Blue Wheel’s story as well as my insights on how brands can leverage innovation to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving commerce landscape. Thank you to everyone involved for a fantastic day of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.     Today, we celebrate Tom Sesti's 4 Year Anniversary, but it's actually 7 Years total that Tom has been with the organization. As President, Tom ensures our operations remain focused and on track. He has a hand in just about every single critical initiative at Blue Wheel, and we wouldn't be the company we are today without him.     Yet another tentpole event has come and gone! We're breaking down our key takeaways from Amazon Prime Big Deal Days with a couple recommendations as we look forward towards Cyber. 1️⃣ Day 2 > Day 1: More sales, traffic, and ad spend on Day 2. PBDD overlapping with Target Circle Days and Walmart Holiday Deals could explain why. 2️⃣ Holiday Shopping Kicks Off Early: Consumers are already getting ready for the holidays. Big-ticket and giftable items performed especially well, as did household essentials. 3️⃣ High CPCs in Competitive Categories: Home goods saw a 60% increase in CPCs, while health and beauty skyrocketed by 100%. Intense competition + lower demand pushed costs up. 4️⃣ Deals Were a Game-Changer: Traffic surged, but we saw conversion rates improve specifically for brands running deals. Shoppers clicked around, hunting for discounts before committing to buy. Things to keep top of mind as we head into Cyber... 💎 Boost Brand Awareness: With rising ad costs, invest in DSP campaigns before tentpole events to build a pool of engaged customers without breaking the bank. 💎 Pre-Event Prospecting: Use awareness and prospecting campaigns for Black Friday/Cyber Monday! Use Amazon Marketing Cloud to target lookalike audiences and maximize impact during high-traffic days. 💎 Secure Budget Allocation: Allocate budget strategically for top-performing ASINs to maintain funded campaigns throughout the event.
