On projects designed with a mechanical room, we like to incorporate the use of an "Integrated Mechanical System Pod (IMSP)". This Pod can include: - Water heater - Expansion tank - ERV - Vertical air-handler - Load Center This drastically reduces the installation time and error rate on-site for every trade it touches.
