Randy De Leon, a.k.a. REBORNZ, is a Los Angeles native who discovered his love for art at a very young age drawing funky animals. As a young adult in the late '90s and early 2000s, he seized every opportunity to express his creativity through graffiti and the street art scene. In the first volume of his illustration book, REBORNZ showcases both personal and commissioned work from 2023 to 2024. "When it comes to personal projects, I often take inspiration from the characters I imagine," he said, "but my approach shifts for commissioned work." Multi-disciplinary designer Emmett Lockridge created a book exploring the process behind his design for a gaming chair he affectionately calls the "Gran Lounge." The book also served as his furniture design thesis at Kansas State University's College of Architecture, Planning, and Design. "I draw a lot of my creativity from working with my hands," Lockridge states, "This chair is what it is because of the opportunity to prototype, test, and go back to the drawing board in a cyclical fashion."
