"...the research shows that you can learn just as much from video as you can from reading, which is amazing. But the best form of teaching is still that 1:1 in person back and forth, because....a lot of times the only reason the student is listening is they have a relationship with the teacher. They respect the teacher, but we remember anything because of repetition." Mr. Beat The educator-student relationship is the cornerstone of education. But videos are a powerful tool to support educators and enhance learning by providing direct education, reinforcing topics, helping to provide perspective, and presenting information in multiple ways to help improve retention. At Boclips, our goal is to make learning engaging and empower educators with safe, ad-free, distraction-free educational videos through Boclips Classroom. #educationalvideos #digitallearning #edtech #k12 #teachers

We are excited to share that Boclips Classroom is a part of the SchoolDay Collection from Global Grid for Learning | GG4L! Schools can now access Boclips Classroom's 1.7 million educational videos through School Passport, providing on-demand provisioning without sharing student PII. #k12 #digitaleducation #educationalvideos #edtech

GG4L is changing the way schools manage EdTech! Our SchoolDay Collection on AWS Marketplace offers a PII-free platform for easy integration and procurement of education tools. It’s a game-changer for cybersecurity and privacy in schools. “We are proud to be releasing the SchoolDay Collection as an extension to School Passport,“ said Robert Iskander, GG4L’s CEO and Founder. “School Passport is the only data exchange in Education that tackles the problem of data sprawl, or the copying of student data to hundreds of cloud-hosted SaaS vendors’ applications, and enables both schools and edtech SaaS vendors to transform their data exchange to a Zero-Trust model. Now schools can migrate their existing SaaS solutions to PII-free data consumption, and are also able to discover and try, before they buy, any of the SchoolDay Collections’ third-party solutions.” Learn more: https://lnkd.in/drPJgiDC #DataPrivacy #EdTechSolutions #Cybersecurity #EducationInnovation

Product thinking for creating transformative learning experiences. Product coach and advisor.

“Once we had David Attenborough, we were motoring!” David Bainbridge has had first experience of the power of brands in EdTech. Success in the world of education is often about identifying a route to market and signing up the right partners. Boclips is a great example of this. After spotting the potential for short form video to engage learners back in 2012, David refocused his audacious vision for a direct to consumer proposition and instead solved a pain point for existing educational providers. He also leverage the power of big brands like the BBC and The Wallstreet Journal to sign up Pearson and created the social proof for others to follow. They now have over 650 content providers supplying videos to enrich courseware. Along the way, they rode the boom and bust of the pandemic and are now finding new opportunities created by gen AI. Here are the key takeaways from the conversation: - Think practically about your route to market. What unmet needs and trends in the current landscape will help you deliver your audacious vision to learners? - Make sure you deliver on all three pillars of an education marketplace: the supply-side (educators), the demand-side (learners) and how your platform delivers the value to them. - To do this, make sure you understand all parts of the business. Don’t delegate or outsource crucial elements because you’re not an expert. - Embrace existential threats. Most things that look like they will kill your business rarely will if you think about things differently and keep moving quickly. - Anticipate trends. But don’t get too far ahead and recognise what is valuable now. The full story is great! Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eeeFatzT ♼ If you like this, please react, comment and reshare!
