We are proud to have supported the "Letters in the Clouds: My Story with China" event, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China in New York. Hosted by China Media Group 中传公关, the event highlighted cultural exchanges between China and the U.S. and featured stories of friendship and collaboration across borders. As Hu Wei, President of Bank of China U.S.A., emphasized, fostering cultural and people-to-people exchanges is vital for mutual understanding between our nations. We’ve long been committed to supporting such initiatives, from sponsoring cultural tours to student exchange programs that deepen connections between U.S. and Chinese youth. Bank of China will continue to serve as a bridge between our two nations, contributing to the promotion of cultural understanding, and we look forward to more opportunities to strengthen these ties in the future. Bank of China USA Celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival This week, Bank of China USA was thrilled to host a festive gathering in honor of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. As one of the most cherished celebrations in China, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time of joy and unity, that falls on the 15th  day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar when the moon is believed to shine its brightest.   With origins steeped in over 3,000 years of myth and legend, the festival is linked to moon worship, family reunions, and gratitude for the harvest. It recounts the tale of Chang’e, who became the moon goddess. Traditionally, Families come together to appreciate the full moon and indulge in mooncakes, symbols of togetherness and happiness.   To honor this special tradition, the Bank of China USA treated all employees to traditional Chinese mooncakes. By celebrating such a rich cultural event, Bank of China embraces the joy of these traditions and the shared moments they bring.

We were delighted to see everyone earlier this week at the IIB Communications and Public Affairs Working Group summer cocktails reception. A big thank you to the Institute of International Bankers for co-hosting the event and to our own BOC Corporate Communications group at Bank of China U.S.A. for their help. Special thanks to Jared Sawyer from Rich Feuer Anderson for his insightful presentation on the current state of affairs with the US elections. His discussion of the potential impacts on the foreign banking community was incredibly valuable. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such an important and engaging conversation! #FinancialCommunity #ForeignBanking #IIB #PublicAffairs #IndustryInsights #Elections #CommunityEngagement
