The most anticipated sandwich of the season, McDonald's new limited-time Chicken Big Mac, made its debut at participating restaurants nationwide on Oct. 10.  Since its launch, it has prompted an intriguing question: “Is the Chicken Big Mac not not a Big Mac?”  🤔 We brought the conversation to Billboard Latin Music Week, kicking things off with a press junket featuring Mexican-American regional music sensation Eslabon Armado. The band discussed how both classic and new Latin music tunes influence their sound, along with some lighthearted banter about whether the Chicken Big Mac truly holds up to the iconic Big Mac name with outlets such as People en Español and Distractify. The festivities continued at the Big Mac Bash during the #BillboardEnVivo concert, where fans enjoyed their favorite Latin music classics with a modern twist — some even got to dance with the McDonald’s mascots: the Chicken Big Mac and Big Mac. The night ended on a high note with electrifying performances by 5x Billboard Latin Music Award finalists Grupo Frontera and the talented Majo Aguilar. The strong collaboration between our #McDonald’s clients Jessica Schulze, Jacob Duarte, Erick Morelos, Breanna Robertson, Ryan Worthy, Rosa Cubas and Rachel King (Damerjian), our BODEN team, and our partner agencies Loud And Live, Alma, and Navigation Blvd helped drive the successful introduction of the Chicken Big Mac to Latin music fans. Congrats to the full squad! #WeareBODEN #Hispanic+

Did you know 1 in 8 Americans have worked at McDonald's?  These 1 in 8ers exemplify how a job at McDonald’s goes far beyond serving burgers and fries—it’s about being part of a community unlike any other and gaining valuable experience to help grow your career. We were excited to support our client McDonald's at the launch of Employees Only, a groundbreaking event series celebrating the incredible 1 in 8 🍔🌟. The inaugural event in Chicago provided past and present Crew exclusive access to networking and mentorship opportunities, featuring inspiring success stories and advice from accomplished alumni. One of the alumni onsite was Latina actress and Emmy Award-winning TV host, Clarissa Molina, who expanded on the importance of her former Crew position and discussed how the lessons she learned on the job continue to influence her successful career today. Congratulations to our clients Nubia Murray, Tess Mattingly, Lindsay Kurtz and Koffivi V., as well as our agency partners at Golin, We Are Social, IW Group Inc. and EGAMI Group for driving such an incredible movement!

We are proud to support the launch of Latinas in Beauty, a first-of-its kind non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating equity and increasing representation of Latina-owned brands and professionals. As seen in our new study, “The State of Latinas in the U.S: An Essential Study for Brands 2024”, Latinas represent a huge untapped opportunity for beauty brands to grow their business. With more than 30 million Latinas in the U.S., not only do they drive a significant portion of U.S. Latinos’ estimated $3.78 trillion in purchasing power, they also spend an average of 19% more on beauty than total U.S. consumers. However, they still lack cultural representation and access to financial opportunities. Its founders, Emily Perez, Margarita Arriagada and Nadine M. Tapia, saw the untapped opportunity of harnessing the talents and cultural perspectives of Latinas to capitalize on the vibrant growth that inclusive beauty represents. By providing resources, networking, and mentorship, Latinas in Beauty aims to empower Latina beauty professionals and entrepreneurs to achieve their professional and entrepreneurial goals. Leaders across the beauty industry are invited to sign a petition supporting the advancement of Latinas in the beauty industry. By pledging your support for Latinas in Beauty, you can join the growing list of advocates including major brands/retailers such as Ulta Beauty and Rare Beauty, along with Latina beauty trailblazers Tata Harper, Founder & CEO of Tata Harper Skincare; Kimberly Villatoro, CEO, Patrick Ta Beauty; Lucia (Lucy) Perdomo-Ruehlemann, President, Saie Beauty; Julissa Prado, Founder & CEO, Rizos Curls; Babba (Canales) Rivera, Founder & CEO of Ceremonia; Shaira Frias, Founder & CEO, LUNA MAGIC, and Irene Scharmack CEO of QuickBox Fulfillment, among others. Help us make a difference in unlocking opportunities that diversify the beauty industry and enable Latinas to thrive as creators, innovators, and leaders in the beauty space. Our BODEN Agency team was on the ground at #LATTITUDE2024, the nation’s premier event focused on showcasing the power of the U.S. Latino cohort. The event delivered powerful proof that U.S. Latinos are an economic and cultural force that cannot be ignored. The following are six key takeaways from the conference that brands and marketers should keep top of mind when creating plans to engage with the U.S. Hispanic and Latino communities: 💰 Latino Economic Power: Latinos are driving the new mainstream economy with U.S. Latino GDP surging by 13%—growing from $3.2 trillion in 2021 to $3.6 trillion in 2022. The Latino cohort should be a priority in every brand's marketing strategies as organizations look to future proof their business. 📈 Hispanic-Owned Business Boom: Hispanic-owned businesses are outpacing the general market in terms of the number of employees and revenue, and Hispanic-owned employer businesses are growing ten times faster than overall employer businesses, with a 26.1 percent increase since 2017. Understanding the unique needs and challenges of this cohort is the key to reaching an audience that is a key economic driver. 🏀 Latino Sports Fandom: 40% of Latinos say they are “avid sports fans” – the highest share of any U.S. population group. That fandom translates into enormous, under-tapped opportunities, as Latinos are 2x more likely to attend at least one sporting event a week vs. non-Latinos. 🎬 Representation Matters: The entertainment industry could earn an additional $12 to $18 billion annually by achieving proper Latino representation throughout the production process. 📊 Latino Gen Z & Millennial Power: Latinos accounted for 70% of the population growth between 2022 and 2023. Latinos are a driving force within Gen Z and younger Millennials, representing 25% and 21% of these generations, respectively. Brands need to begin engaging and building loyalty with this young cohort now given their rapid growth and power. 👩🏽💼 Latinas Underrepresented: Latinas remain vastly underrepresented in media, boardrooms, and brand marketing strategies, leaving an untapped potential for brands to step up and engage with this dynamic audience. BODEN released the “The State of Latinas in the U.S.: An Essential Study for Brands 2024," a study that uncovers how Latinas feel about long-standing societal misconceptions, and provides insights for brands on how to accelerate growth with this critical cohort. https://lnkd.in/g_7qzvMg BODEN is proud to support L'ATTITUDE in its efforts aimed at educating and inspiring top business leaders across the country to recognize and better understand the enormous economic and cultural transformation that is being fueled by U.S. Latinos.
