My 2024 bingo card didn't include having my face and Bokksu on Madison Square Garden's jumbotron, but I'm not complaining! I’m pumped to share that Bokksu won an award grant for being a proudly LGBTQ-owned business. As part of the grant, Chase Small Business Program invited us to attend a New York Rangers game and best of all I got the fun privilege of accepting a ginormous check for $10,000 😂 What a night to remember! #Bokksu #NHL #NYR #NYRangers #SmallBusiness
One of our March highlights? Meeting the Bon Appetit staff and hosting a tasting at their headquarters! This past week, Bokksu founder Danny Taing and a few of our teammates headed to 1 World Trade Center to share Bokksu’s mission and a few of our favorite snacks made by local makers in Japan. The Bon Appetit staff got to try: 🍘Daruma Senbei Rice Crackers 🍞Natural Yeast Bread with Hokkaido Cream 🍵Chocolate Azuki Beans in the Uji Matcha flavor 🍎Kajitsu Tappuri Fuji Apple Cake 🍓Bokksu White and Black Strawberries—the crowd favorite! The staff also got to fill the Bokksu tote bags with other snacks from our Bokksu Market Discovery Pack, Hello Kitty and Friends Snacks Box, and our classic Seasons of Japan Snack Box.
