Favorite holiday tradition? We’ll go first: the Bombas Holiday Giving Project. Kelly Cobb, our Vice President of Giving, told us a bit more about why this moment is so special to the Bombas team each year: “For 6 years, we’ve worked with local New York City family shelters to buy the things their kids are specifically asking for—from bikes to tablets to cool sneakers to the latest headphones. We wrap all the gifts, load everything into a giant U-Haul, and deliver to our Giving Partner Organizations a week before Christmas. Everything we do is behind the scenes so the families can give the gifts to their kids on the day that's most meaningful to them. We’re pretty into socks (if you didn’t notice). So to celebrate some of our biggest employee milestones, we made—drumroll please 🥁—Anniversary Socks! We see your company pizza party and raise you a whole 3-day retreat! Last month, the entire Hive stepped out of the office and into a summer camp. We crafted. We canoed. We competed. And, most importantly, we reconnected as an entire company. Year after year, these annual retreats have strengthened the connective tissue between our team. We leave with a deeper appreciation, understanding, and sense of trust for one another. It’s why it’s been a tradition since 2015, and why we won’t stop them anytime soon.
