About us
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is a community-based organization, offering youth ages 6-18 high-quality programs in first-class facilities. BGCSF’s skilled and caring staff expands a child’s world through inspiration, skill building, positive adult and peer relationships, and unique experiences both at the Club and outside the Club, while making every child feel heard, understood, valued, and loved. At BGCSF, we pride ourselves on being a core institution in the San Francisco community, with more than a century of youth development experience and a proven track record of helping young people become successful adults. All staff have access to cutting-edge Learning and Development training opportunities to strengthen professional skills and create growth opportunities within the organization. We focus on youth development, leadership, and management training. Many members of our management team got their start in direct service positions or as Club kids themselves. BGCSF places an emphasis on growing our team through those who know our organization best. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

We are excited to share more highlights from the grand opening dedication and ribbon-cutting event for the Hub in Sunnydale on Wednesday. The Hub is a brand-new community center, in which Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) is thrilled to be operating a new state-of-the-art Clubhouse. BGCSF has been a consistent presence in Sunnydale for over 30 years, and we are thrilled to be growing our services and expanding our impact in the neighborhood. Although the Hub officially opened Wednesday, BGCSF has been serving youth in the new Springer Clubhouse in Sunnydale for six weeks. Indigenous Peoples' Day honors the original stewards of the land we now call home, specifically the Ohlone and Pomo peoples, along with Indigenous communities across the nation. All Clubs will be closed on Monday, October 14th in observance of this day. Each summer, we are proud to offer Native Education programming at Camp Mendocino, and today, we would like to highlight some of our campers who were recognized for contributing to this program.
