About us
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Garfield is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Boys & Girls Club offers an experience like no other in the City of Garfield. We are the only childcare facility in Garfield with its own standalone building that can offer its programs, we do not service in schools. All children have access to a Gymnasium, Computers, Entertainment, Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts, STEM, High Yield Learning Activities. Our Club experience ensures that while we reach youth at an early age, our trained staff engage and provide a positive environment, compelling programming and community outreach events that support our mission. Values of the Boys & Girls Club include Teamwork, Leadership, Integrity, Honesty and Positivity just to name a few. In offering a positive Club experience and trained staff, our youth can achieve so much. They learn to contribute to society, develop lifelong friendships, build self-esteem, express their personality, dissolve their prejudices and nurture their talents.
