Senator Pete Harckham and Assemblymember Chris Burdick understand the importance of after school programming for our community, and that youth participate in essential academic, wellness and social programming while enjoying hot nutritious meals made on-site at the Club. After receiving only 3 months notice that the last year of a NYS contract would end 1 year early, causing unintended, devastating consequences, Senator Harckham and Assemblymember Burdick mobilized all efforts immediately; serving as our champions; and secured $280,000 of emergency legislative funding.
