About us
Bpeace is a community where entrepreneurs and small businesses in crisis-affected regions of the world access expert growth advice from international industry and business volunteers. We believe: More jobs mean less violence® The entrepreneurs and small businesses we identify are called Fast Runners. The volunteer industry and business experts who advise them are called Skillanthropists. Businesses that work with Bpeace Skillanthropists grow significantly better than their local economies. Alpa Pandya spoke passionately at the recent FUNDEMAS Sustainability Week, sharing valuable insights on why inclusion is no longer just a "nice-to-have" but has become a critical path to sustainable growth for businesses. Here are some powerful takeaways from her talk: -- Inclusion is a Business Imperative. In today’s world, inclusion is essential for long-term success. Companies that invest in inclusive practices gain a resilient foundation for growth by supporting their communities and diversifying their workforce. -- Sustainability Beyond Resources. Sustainability extends beyond conserving natural resources to harnessing the power of human resources. How we engage, support, and develop our workforce drives sustainable and impactful growth. -- Leadership’s Role in Inclusion. Leaders play a transformative role in fostering inclusive workplaces, where everyone can thrive and contribute their unique strengths, regardless of background. -- Empowering Women and Youth for El Salvador’s Growth. El Salvador’s economy depends on women and young people, yet these groups are often underrepresented. Empowering them can significantly reshape the nation’s economic future, as Alpa emphasized: “Get your women to work, and you’ll change the trajectory of a nation.” -- Unlocking Untapped Potential. With inclusive policies, companies gain access to untapped talent and diverse perspectives, driving innovation and fostering an environment where everyone can reach their potential. -- A Vision for El Salvador’s Prosperity. For El Salvador to thrive, inclusion isn’t merely beneficial; it’s essential. Embracing the full diversity of its people is vital for building a stronger, more vibrant future. -- Incremental Change – The Path to Sustainable Inclusion. Sustainable change happens gradually. Implementing inclusive policies and practices one step at a time builds a robust framework for growth and innovation. Bpeace's vision extends far and wide: let’s foster workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to drive a sustainable future. Congrats Alpa for your incredible presentation! #Inclusion #SustainableGrowth #Empowerment #FUNDEMAS #Bpeace

Thank you to the Argidius Foundation for being an outstanding partner and enabling us to make a difference in countries like Guatemala by empowering business leaders like Javier Luna!
When we sat down with Javier Luna, the director of Guatemalan construction company, Invela, we jokingly asked him if he had previously worked in the movie industry due to his film-star looks. He surprised us by saying, yes, he had! In our latest report "Ten Years of Impact" we feature an interview with Javier Luna and our partner, Bpeace, about the challenges, and opportunities, of being in the Guatemalan job creation industry. You can read all about Javier here: https://lnkd.in/ecy5r_uK Bpeace (Business Council for Peace)

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we proudly highlight volunteers like Denise E., born in Brooklyn to Salvadoran parents who fled the civil war. Denise exemplifies the strength of cultural heritage and the importance of giving back. Her Salvadoran roots—cumbias, pupusas, and family traditions—are central to her identity, which she continues to pass on to her children. For the past two years, Denise has volunteered with Bpeace, mentoring women entrepreneurs in El Salvador and Guatemala, with a focus on leadership and talent development. "When you stay true to who you are, even the toughest challenges become possible. Giving back is part of that for me," she says. Balancing her career at IPG Health, family, and volunteer work, Denise demonstrates how we can uplift others while honoring our heritage. She shows that one person’s dedication can inspire change in countless lives. We are honored to have her as part of the Bpeace community. Ready to join Denise in our volunteer community? https://lnkd.in/gKq3wFgf #HispanicHeritageMonth #WomenEmpowerment #LatinaLeadership #Bpeace #CommunityImpact #SalvadoranPride

¡Feliz Semana de la Independencia, El Salvador y Guatemala! 🇸🇻 🇬🇹 The festivities kicked off on Sunday, the 15th, with the official Independence Day, but the celebrations continue all week long as we honor the rich cultures, vibrant histories, and bright futures of both nations! 🎉 Did you know? In Guatemala, one of the most iconic traditions is the torch relay. Thousands of participants take to the streets carrying lit torches, a symbol of spreading the flame of freedom and national unity. The relay passes from runner to runner along a set route, accompanied by music, cheers, and festivities. It culminates in lighting a larger torch in a central location, representing the enduring spirit of independence. #IndependenciaSV #IndependenciaGT #CentroaméricaUnida #Bpeace
