BRIDGEGOOD x Travis King & Bay Area Legend E-40 in "49er Faithful Official" Music Video | We’re thrilled to see BRIDGEGOOD’s "Faithful to the Bay" mural featured in the new music video for 49er Faithful Official by Travis King, starring the iconic E-40! This mural is more than art and design – it’s a tribute to the commitment of 49er fans and a celebration of Bay Area pride. The Backstory: In 2022, BRIDGEGOOD was commissioned by Adobe and the San Francisco 49ers to design three "Faithful to the Bay" murals, capturing the spirit of community and the loyal 49ers fanbase. Since their founding in 1946, the 49ers have been an essential part of Bay Area history. The Bay may have evolved, pioneering changes in culture, tech, and sports, but one thing has remained constant: the loyalty of the Faithful. Through highs and lows, the Faithful are there – from the City, the Town, the Peninsula, or even beyond the Bay. The 49ers mirror that loyalty back, pouring their all into both the team and the community. In the spirit of career development, BRIDGEGOOD offered this one-of-a-kind opportunity to three talented designers – Olivia Trujillo, Lauren Zimmerman, and Dominic Taylor – who are also proud BRIDGEGOOD graduates. Their work not only brightens our community but also inspires others to be Faithful to the Bay. A huge thank you to #TravisKing and #E40 for choosing to showcase Olivia Trujillo’s mural in this video. These visuals capture the vibrant essence of the Faithful’s dedication. Want to see the magic? Check out this collage of stills from the music video, https://lnkd.in/gpBYn82J. Credits to the talented creative team behind this inspiring project: Directed and edited by Noble Cinema Studio (@NobleCinemaOfficial), with primary cinematography by @mky_visualz and additional cinematography by @flixbyflip. Special effects were crafted by @ysshotit, and the vibrant mural featured in the video was created by Olivia Trujillo for BRIDGEGOOD. #FaithfulToTheBay #FTTB #49ers #Adobe #E40 #BayArea #49erFaithful #BRIDGEGOOD #DesignForSocialGood Support BRIDGEGOOD’s mission to educate the next generation of diverse designers by donating at https://lnkd.in/gREdTmV. 🌟 Exciting Day at LinkedIn! 🌟 I had the opportunity to attend an insightful event today hosted at LinkedIn by the wonderful Cristian King and lovely Jorel Atilano that sparked some valuable reflections on Building Your Professional Network. I also met some amazing and inspiring people during the networking portion of the event. Here are my two key takeaways: ☝ Strategically Building Your Professional Network: It’s not just about the quantity of connections, but the quality. Taking the time to connect with individuals who align with your values and goals can lead to more meaningful and impactful relationships. ✌ Networking Isn't Transactional: I was reminded that networking should be about making genuine connections rather than simply exchanging business cards. It's about building relationships that can provide support, inspiration, and collaboration over time. I'm excited to keep in touch and see how we can support each other moving forward! Thanks again Cristian King for the warmest welcomes 🥰 I will see you at the next event! #CommunityLearnIn #Networking #ProfessionalGrowth #LinkedIn

"Ohhh the people that you meet..." When you are a BRIDGEGOOD UX Design Apprentice. At BRIDGEGOOD HQ Shaun Tai with his openness and honesty. Elisa Feng has the heart and organization. While Steve Jing showed you one path can open from another. Sarah Y. shows if you stay in touch BRIDGEGOOD is always there for you. And finally Aye Myat Thu was a happy smile on Thursday. While all of those people taught me a lot, there were so many more mentors and speakers that I want to thank for taking the time to speak to us. I believe mental health while working in groups is important so thank you Camila Baum and Aisha T. There are mentors and speakers that I have spoken about in earlier posts that I still want to thank again:Tiffany B., Brodie Rich, Kyle Rush Gavin Pham, Chris Munn, PhD, David L., Brooklyn Valera. Chino Mayrina showed me that writing out the steps can help with sketching. Veronica Kimes showed anything can be used in crazy 8's and the importance of ideation and sketching. While Figma was a multiple person subject so thank you, Achuta Anekal, Uriel Zarate ( also part of the Adobe panel) along with Michelle Chin who showed us Figma with Zero Height. Sarah Fox taught us storytelling and design systems from Ireland. Amber J. and I look at accessibility but she showed me the level of frustration people with accessibility as I wanted to chuck my phone. Deron Gopie talking about A.I and the way leaning into is sometimes needed. While Adobe the panel showed the many pathways to a career, Danielle Morimoto, Linda Ma, Shrut Kirti Saksena, not to mention Jenny Kolcun, Kelly Weldon and Alex Rojo. Divya Mittal showed us not only Figma but followed up on the design thinking process along with research and ideation. Sydney T Nguyễn for showing us and me the process of user research and letting the conversation lead the way. Kyle Zantos built upon that with more wire framing and his mentorship during the capstone was so useful. Along with Tarrea T. her mentorship was so necessary and helpful. Having insight from Terry Burchell and Karleen Eberle and Harry Kris. It was amazing seeing and getting some help from Dominique Stewart-Thomas. Let me not forget Kevin Tufts who I missed the first time from META was amazing. While Bedford Williamson who showed us PayPal and that the extra step is the way to set yourself apart. Kristine Yuen and Cristie Huang showed how to maximize LinkedIn to move forward. Well seems I have reached my mention limit so I will say thank you to the people at PayPal who hosted Tyler Duggan and Apoorva Setlur, along with the men and women sat on the hybrid panel. And the men and women that helped with our capstone projects I learned so much from those interactions. I cannot thank all of your enough, I learned so much that will lead me on my way to the career pivot I have been working on. #DesignForSocialGood

Returned from an incredible trip to Miami, Florida for Adobe MAX 2024, and I feel humbled and energized. First off, I’m beyond blessed that my wife Aisha was able to join me on this trip. And it was Bravery’s (my 7-month-old son) first time on a plane, first out-of-state adventure, and first time watching his dad in a fireside chat. Growing up without a father around, these moments hit hard. I’m so grateful to share them with him. Miami itself — what a city! The Cuban culture is everywhere. Fun fact: Miami’s Cuban population is over a million strong, the biggest in the U.S. The food, the music, the vibe… it was all so real, so vibrant. At Nonprofit Day at MAX 2024, I had the honor of having a fireside conversation with Amy White (Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility) from Adobe for a meaningful conversation about #DesignForSocialGood and how creativity and technology can create real opportunities, especially in underrepresented communities... BRIDGEGOOD + The Bay + Oakland was definitely in the building. None of this would’ve been possible without the incredible energy from the Adobe team. Olivia & Angie, you both made Nonprofit Day a success. Teamwork really does make the dream work, and the commitment from Adobe continues to shine through. #TWMTDW #AdobeMAX #BRIDGEGOOD #AdobeMAX2024 #FeelGood PS. If you are in the Bay Area on Dec. 7, would love to have you attend BRIDGEGOOD's "Feel Good" Celebration & Fundraiser at our studio in Jack London Square, free registration at https://lnkd.in/gVbz--eg.

This week we kicked off Adobe MAX in Miami Beach by hosting our second annual Nonprofit Day. It was a fantastic day packed with inspiration, learning, community building and so much fun with an incredible group of people. I was honored to be joined by so many of our extraordinary nonprofit partners who shared their insights and experience, as well as the innovative ways they are leveraging technology in service of their missions and the communities they serve. Add to this our amazing Adobe experts and volunteers who provided trainings and tools throughout the day, capped off by a celebratory sunset cocktail hour, and you have an experience that reminds you just how lucky you are to get to do this work every day. Adobe has been serving the nonprofit community since its inception more than 40 years ago, and I’m so proud that we are continuing to deepen our relationships and support of changemaking organizations throughout the world. To our nonprofit leaders, incredible speakers, volunteers and colleagues, THANK YOU for making Nonprofit Day at MAX such a wonderful experience. A huge shoutout to Olivia Zaller for the incredible work she did to make the day such a success, to Cherese Crockett and Oolite Arts for hosting us in your beautiful space, and and to all of the speakers, volunteers and partners that brought Nonprofit Day to life.
