We had a fantastic time exhibiting at the AST Fellows Symposium this past Friday! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with clinical fellows, residents, surgical fellows, pharmacists, and other trainees who are shaping the future of transplantation medicine, surgery, and research. The symposium's focus on clinical transplantation, transplant immunobiology, and translational science provided invaluable insights, and we were thrilled to be part of this engaging, interactive experience. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! #Transplantation #TransplantResearch #TransplantSurgery

🌟 HOPE for the Week: Outcomes of redo-liver transplantation using hypothermic oxygenated machine perfusion (HOPE): a preliminary analysis of a multicentre cohort study (REDO-HOPE) was presented last week at TTS. The study aimed at investigating outcomes of redo-LT performed using grafts treated by HOPE. By improving preservation and allowing prolonged preservation time, HOPE was shown to improve outcomes of redo-LT. #BridgetoLife is fully dedicated to developing sustainable solutions to improve transplant results and patient outcomes. Participating in the DONARTE 2024 meeting in Messina supports our mission.
It is an authentic pleasure to attend the 3rd International Conference DONARTE in Messina. DONARTE, is probably the only transplant conference worldwide that address, donation and transplant actuallity, combining art, science and emotion through real transplant histories. HOPE for transplant!

🌟HOPE for the Week: Leveraging Synergies in Organ Perfusion Recent studies have demonstrated that combining normothermic regional perfusion (NRP) with hypothermic oxygenated perfusion (HOPE) can significantly improve liver transplant outcomes. Research shows that NRP helps restore organ function by re-establishing blood flow before the transplant, while HOPE further reduces ischemia-reperfusion injury, which can occur when oxygen is reintroduced to the organ. Together, these techniques create a more favorable environment for recovery, offering greater hope for patients awaiting transplants. Stay tuned for more breakthroughs in organ preservation! #OrganTransplantation #HOPE #NRP #LiverTransplant #MedicalInnovation #HopeForTheWeek
