Excited to get back to my EdTech roots at SXSW EDU next week! I’ll be hosting a discussion on how AI can empower students as creators—going beyond just using it to actually shaping it to solve real-world problems.   We’ll dive into VoteWise, a project from Zach Kennelly’s time as an EDSAFE Catalyst Fellow, where students built AI-powered solutions with real impact. Our very own Susan Miller recently taught an Agile Fundamentals class to a Civics class at DSST Public Schools College View as part of an AI innovation project. The students are taking on a software development project using PlayLab to create an app that will positively impact their community, and Susan explained how Agile will help them accomplish this.   Preparing students for the future means equipping them with AI knowledge while fostering digital literacy and community engagement.
