Options MD has been acquired by Resilience Lab! Resilience Lab provides hybrid therapy, employs over 250 clinicians, and operates an educational development program for new mental health clinicians. Acquiring Options MD not only allows Resilience Lab to offer its patients psychiatry services, but also gives Resilience Lab access to an AI platform designed to support clinical intake and make diagnosis and treatment recommendations for serious mental illness.

Aware Health is now part of the Bright Ventures portfolio, having secured $3M in seed funding led by Boomerang Ventures to expand value-based musculoskeletal solutions. Aware leverages proprietary algorithms to guide clinicians in diagnosing orthopedic conditions virtually, upstream, with same-day availability, avoiding unnecessary imaging and surgeries downstream. This early intervention approach has led to a 59% reduction in orthopedic healthcare claims, as reported in a peer-reviewed study.

The first BREATHE session for Black leaders of the Fall is this Wednesday, October 16th.

1 in 5 US adults struggles with a mental health condition. This World Mental Health Day, our team is thinking about how to make the future healthier for all. Wellbeing is fundamental to Bright's operations and offerings.  Over the last ten years, we’ve advocated for founders to invest in their mental health, and provided pathways for them to do so. We've heard consistently that interpersonal dynamics challenge the mental health of not only founders, but many of the leaders Bright works with. One of our portfolio companies, Scenario, is a solution to help all of us navigate interpersonal stress using role play and visualization.

As we head into our Annual Meeting this month, I am reflecting on what makes our company and community uniquely ‘Bright’. We asked some of our colleagues and collaborators to share their personal reflections; hope, empathy, passion and an unwavering ability to see the future as it could be, are just a few of the themes that stood out.
