Hang on! Before you dive into 2025 communication planning, take stock of where you stand. Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you’re prepared: ✅ Conduct a Communication Audit Review all your 2024 messaging, engagement rates, and the effectiveness of your channels. What’s resonating with employees? What’s not? ✅ Get Employee Feedback Run a communication preferences survey to understand how your people wants to receive communication. Their input will shape your 2025 comms strategy. ✅ Analyze the Data Look for any trends and patterns in both the audit and survey results. This will highlight areas that need improvement and opportunities for growth. ✅ Align with Company Goals Ensure your communication plan supports broader company objectives. Messaging is most effective when it reinforces what leadership wants to achieve. 💡 Make this a regular process! An annual audit keeps your internal comms fresh and your finger on the pulse of what employees really want and need. -- 🤓 Need help getting started? For company core values, we often reference Patrick Lencioni’s approach while partnering with clients. Lencioni emphasizes that core values should be authentic and truly reflect the heart of your organization — not just be a set of aspirational or overused words. (Hint: That means if your core values include “respect,” “ethics,” or “integrity,” it might be time to reevaluate. 😅) We 💙 this idea because it pushes companies to focus on core values they’re actually willing to hire and reward people over. 💡 As you assess your core values heading into 2025, ask yourself: Are these values truly guiding our decisions? If they’re not influencing and inspiring how employees operate every day, it might be time for a refresh. 🔗 Learn how we help and encourage teams and clients to refresh company core values: https://lnkd.in/gCP6XjMQ #InternalComms #EmployeeExperience #EmployeeCommunication

As election season ramps up, it’s a great time to remind employees how civic responsibility aligns with your company’s core values. You can use this opportunity to show that voting supports the very principles your company stands for. 💡 Consider drafting a company-wide messaging that ties your core values to the importance of voting to reinforce how employees can make a difference both in the workplace and in the community. #InternalComms #EmployeeExperience #EmployeeCommunication

Communicators — don't let 2024 end without articulating a clear vision for 2025 from your leadership team. Employees need to be reminded of the bigger picture to understand what’s next for the company and how they fit into that plan. 💡Work with your leadership team to develop a concise '2025 Vision' message as part of the end of year message. Include goals, key initiatives and a roadmap for growth. This sets the stage for 2025 and ensures employees are aligned and motivated to contribute to those business goals. 3 Key Elements of Outstanding Year-End Messages 🔗 https://lnkd.in/en8-uVQy -- Need help crafting a compelling, EOY employee message campaign for 2025? End-of-year campaigns are more than just wrapping up 2024 — they’re a chance to set the stage for 2025 and beyond. The trick? Get started early and involve your leadership team from the outset. For example, have leadership share their reflections on the year and their vision for the future in personalized videos or emails. This humanizes your messaging and gets your employees looking forward to the next chapter. -- 👉Need some help organizing and rolling out an end-of-year campaign? Your end-of-year campaign for employees is about setting the right tone for the future. In Q4, use the time to create messaging that inspires your employees and builds excitement for the opportunities ahead in 2025. 💡 Consider a 'Looking Forward' campaign, where you share leadership’s vision for 2025 and invite employees to share their own career goals and aspirations. This makes employees feel more connected to the company’s future direction. Need help with future-focused messages that motivate and energize your workforce? Let us know.
