October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it’s more personal for us at British Swim School. We’re showing strong support for two of our franchise owners who are currently battling breast cancer. The response to our internal fundraiser has been incredible, with nearly $1,000 raised for Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Join us in welcoming Elif and Daniel Mokran to the British Swim School family! They have recently purchased a territory in South Renton-Covington, Washington, and are excited to leverage their expertise and passion to deliver outstanding swim education in the area. Daniel's swimming journey started as a baby, while Elif’s began after a near-drowning incident at age five. Rather than deterring her, this incident ended up fueling her love for water and led her to teach her daughter to swim from an early age. Their strong belief in the importance of swimming skills aligns perfectly with British Swim School’s mission, especially in an area where quality swim programs are scarce. Elif brings a rich background as a competitive swimmer and as a Volunteer Coordinator at Seattle Public Schools— huge benefits to the future success of their British Swim School! Daniel, with nearly 20 years in telecommunications, will provide essential backend support. Together, they are set to make a significant impact in their new territory. We are thrilled to introduce our newest owners, Michael and Sarah Madura, who have purchased two territories in North San Antonio! With a strong alignment to our mission and a clear need for swim instruction in their area, they recognized that British Swim School was the perfect fit to help their community take the plunge into water safety. Originally from the Midwest, Mike and Sarah share a deep passion for water safety and a love for working with children. Sarah brings her experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor, eager to reignite her passion for aquatics. Meanwhile, Mike has long aspired to own a franchise, and together, they found a perfect match with British Swim School, where their skills and passions perfectly align. As owners, Mike and Sarah are dedicated to ensuring that everyone in their community has access to essential water safety education. Their commitment to making a difference will empower families in North San Antonio to learn vital skills and gain confidence in the water, ultimately creating a safer environment for all. British Swim School is excited to welcome its newest franchisees, Asha ElDerrado and Chris Pass, who have purchased a territory in the Jonesboro-Stockbridge area of Georgia. Their journey began years ago when their son took BSS classes as an infant, and they were impressed by the safe, fun, and confidence-building environment. Asha's background as a teacher in both charter and public schools has honed her ability to connect with children and families, fostering confidence and making learning enjoyable. Chris brings over 15 years of IT experience, specializing in cloud engineering and network management, allowing him to tackle complex challenges effectively. Together, they will ensure a well-run swim school where every child learns the vital skill of swimming. As owners, Asha and Chris are dedicated to creating a supportive environment that enables children to develop essential water safety skills. Their commitment, combined with British Swim School's proven methods, will provide local families with the resources needed to prevent drowning and build confidence in the water.

The couple purchased one territory in Treasure Coast, Florida and are excited to help children develop swim skills and give back to their community. With Daniel’s two decades of IT management experience and Stephanie’s sharp skills in crime scene and traffic crash investigation, this dynamic duo is bringing a wealth of expertise to British Swim School! Daniel will ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, while Stephanie focuses on safety and keeping swimmers secure in the water. Their strong leadership will not only support their staff but also create a fun, engaging atmosphere for families, making every swim lesson a positive experience. Daniel and Stephanie are excited to join British Swim School and make a positive impact in Treasure Coast. They’re committed to improving water safety and helping kids learn to swim. With their skills and enthusiasm, they look forward to growing with us and enhancing the community. Meet the newest members of the British Swim School family, Ashlee & David Greenfield! The couple recently purchased a territory in the Chicago Heights area of Illinois, and with their deep passion for water safety, they are excited to be a part of our purpose-driven mission. As parents to a young child (whose also a current British Swim School student!) and having backgrounds in social work, Ashlee and David understand the critical importance of water safety in their community. David, an avid swimmer, and Ashlee, who has personally experienced two near-drowning incidents, saw a unique opportunity to make a difference by offering lifesaving swim lessons and educating families about water safety across Chicago. Now, as part of a strong network of experienced franchisees in the greater Chicago area, they’re ready to build on an already solid foundation of water safety education and impact even more lives. After witnessing the progress and confidence their own daughter gained through British Swim School lessons, they were inspired to bring that same experience to other families in their community.
