🤝 Meet Brookline Teen Outreach Center, a nonprofit organization providing free tutoring, community service support, training, and counseling to youth ages 10-18. Proud Owners Caitlin McNulty and Diana Fischerkeller teamed up with The Progress Fund to help purchase their previously rented space. Now, they’re free from strict landlord rules and can continue to transform lives, give back to the community, and support Pittsburgh’s youth everyday. 🌟 Discover the incredible work Brookline Teen Outreach is doing for the Greater Pittsburgh area: https://lnkd.in/dfqtpkMf #FinancialServices #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneur #Pennsylvania

It takes a lot of funding, nearly $12,000 a year, to keep 250 youth fed 5 days a week for both snack and a meal. Consider making a one-time or monthly sustaining donation to help us off set these costs and ensure that kids are receiving adequate food during programming. Make your donation at https://lnkd.in/gKyguEZz.

Your dollars provide meals, activities, resources, and opportunities for the youth we serve. Generosity, whether as a one-time donation or as a monthly sustaining gift, makes a real impact. Without your support, we would not be able to continue to offer all of our activities and resources without cost to our students and their families and continue additional programs that support our community. https://bit.ly/3URRhkS

This newly launched program is off to a great start, but we are hoping to expand. If you would like to support BTO, but don't want to make a financial commitment, simply collect your steel and aluminum cans and either call us at 412-254-4590 or email us at info@BrooklineTeenOutreach.org to arrange a pick-up or drop your cans off at BTO.

Part of the mission of BTO is to continually assess our impact on the community and ensure that the services we offer are aligned with what our neighbors need and want. Over the next several weeks, we are conducting a needs assessment to determine what parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members of our target population of 10-18 need to feel supported and empowered. Even if you don't live in Brookline or use BTO regularly, we would love to have your feedback on what you have observed and how we can work to develop or adapt programming to meet those needs.
