We're a week away from the opening of our Out@Tennis exhibit, a visual journey through LGBTQ+tennis! Join us for the opening reception and please RSVP via https://lnkd.in/dkU5HyjZ. There will be refreshments, snacks, and tons about LGBTQ+ sports and fitness! "Beyond the Spectrum: A Visual Representation of LGBTQ+Sports”- Our centerpiece features the work of player-photographer Sidney Beal III, capturing LGBTQ+ tennis over two decades from local community courts to American GLTA tournaments. “Seen @”- On most weekends in at least one city somewhere in the world (and often 2-3) there is a GLTA tournament. But whether Perth or Paris, Bali or Boston, the formats are surprisingly aligned. Have your own GLTA experience through snapshots from the past year on tour. “Why We Play”- Whether through community or competition, fitness or self-care, for many players, tennis has been life-changing, and in some ways life-saving. A handful of LGBTQ+ players from Brooklyn, New York, and beyond share why they play.
