This strategic expansion into the Netherlands, as one of the key competition law markets within the European Union, reflects the firm's commitment to providing excellence in services to corporate clients involved in complex antitrust litigation matters on a pan-European and global scale. It has further strengthened our ability to serve our European and global clients from our offices in California, US, London, UK and now Amsterdam, NL, too, as also reflected in the new firm logo.   The BRS NL team is comprised of highly skilled attorneys dedicated to antitrust law, delivering top notch legal representation and strategic counsel to our corporate clients seeking redress for antitrust related harms. Filling in the feedback forms for the annual American Bar Association Antitrust Spring Meeting in Washington D.C. last month had our BRS team reflecting on the fantastic time we all had. While our attorneys Keith Butler, Cindy Reichline, Lauma Skruzmane, Shira Liu, Taylor Keating and Ryan Roth have now returned to their offices in California and London, they have also taken back with them the many insights gained and new great memories made at the various conference sessions, panels, meetings, networking events and the chance to connect and reconnect with colleagues from around the world. Yesterday, Lauma Skruzmane from our BRS team attended the Competition Damages Symposium in London. A big thank you and well done to all the individuals and teams at AlixPartners, Hausfeld and Linklaters for organising and hosting! The event and various discussions offered a wide range of insights, including from the opening by Scott Campbell (Hausfeld), the key note address by Sir Peter Roth, former President of the Competition Appeal Tribunal, and panels featuring Tom De La Mare KC (Blackstone Chambers), Matt Hunt (AlixPartners), Wessen Jazrawi (Hausfeld), and Sarina Williams (Linklaters), who covered developments and their perspectives on causation, and James Hennah (Linklaters), Lesley Hannah (Hausfeld), Felix Hammeke (AlixPartners), and Gayatri Sarathy (Blackstone Chambers), setting out developments and views on the intricate aspects of quantum. It was wonderful to see everyone and continue with more great discussions afterwards too. We hope this will become an annual feature on all of our calendars and look forward to continuing the debates on the various developments next year!
