We transformed their meal authorization process at conventions by implementing a web-based QR code scanning system integrated with Salesforce. - 🌐 Seamless Integration: Attendees received meal codes via email, which were scanned at meal stations using any smartphone or tablet, avoiding the need for complex apps or costly hardware. - 🚀 Flexibility: If lines grew too long, any staff member could step in with their smartphone or tablet to scan QR codes, keeping things moving smoothly. - ⚡Efficient Backend: A CPU-based backend compute handled up to 10,000 scans per day, optimizing for fast validation and quick adaptation by the staff. By focusing on the core issue—efficient meal distribution—we crafted a scalable and straightforward solution. AWS Bedrock, let's talk about it. It rocks! At Butalia Media Consulting, we’ve recently started leveraging AWS Bedrock for our AI integrations. For those of you already on AWS, this service is an excellent addition to your toolkit. We are working on a platform that allows users to upload their private documents, images, and spreadsheets to create Smart Folders and Smart Files. From these Smart Folders and Smart Files, users can generate intelligent playlists to share. This is all done privately with their own data, and AI models are used solely to process these documents, ensuring complete privacy and security. To power this innovative project, we looked into AWS Bedrock and haven't looked back. For those of you already on AWS, this service is an absolute game-changer. 🌐 With the compute resources and S3 storage already on AWS, Bedrock was the perfect match. AWS Bedrock has proven to be fantastic for generating text and analyzing documents. It’s efficient, accurate, and reliable. 📝 We kicked off our journey with a simple yet powerful Smart Text integration: - Using the Titan Text G1 - Express model, generating text based on user prompts has never been easier. - Our modal interface allows users to enter a prompt, generate text, and either confirm or edit the output, all in one place. 💡 The journey doesn’t stop here. We're gearing up to dive into Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and even plan to train our own models soon! For the past few weeks, we have been hard at work integrating the Whisper and WhisperX transcription models into a suite of AI-powered solutions, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the progress! 🧑💻🤖 Here's a glimpse into what we've achieved so far: 🌐 Advanced R&D: We dove deep into the Whisper model and its capabilities. We set up test repositories, detected languages, and transcribed audio with remarkable accuracy. 🎤 Speaker Diarization: We developed innovative custom code to accurately identify and differentiate between speakers. No more confusion about who's saying what! 🔍 Speaker Context Preservation: One of our key breakthroughs was developing a method to preserve speaker context across audio chunks, allowing for continuous and coherent transcriptions, even for long audio files. We're making sure every word counts. 🔄 Translation & Transcription: We’ve enhanced the model to not only transcribe but also translate audio into English. Our solution now seamlessly handles transcription and translation, providing accurate timecodes and tokens for each segment. 🛠️ Infrastructure & Stability: We've implemented robust solutions to monitor and manage compute load, ensuring our systems remain stable and efficient. Stability? Check. Reliability? Double-check. 📦 Dockerization: We successfully dockerized the Whisper server, creating a streamlined and efficient deployment process that ensures consistent performance across various environments.
