In a sea of the same, if you’re doing what's already done, you’re already behind. You must do what has not been done to have a chance when dollars and attention are scarce. The same goes for your brand. People don’t make decisions rationally. The movers and shakers, the icons: Prince, David Bowie, Frida Kahlo. They don’t look like everyone else. We are drawn to them for their taste, their visionary approach to aesthetics. People are drawn to companies, just like they’re drawn to radical musicians and artists, because of how they feel when they experience your brand. Imagine arriving at a dinner party in a Gucci suit vs. your 10-year-old ratty workout clothes. What assumptions would people make about you before you even speak? The same applies to your website. If you're a leader in your field, your website must reflect that credibility through premium design. Here are three things to consider: Does it stand out? Amidst a sea of competitors, your site needs to capture attention and create an emotional connection. We're emotional beings, not just logical ones. Is it trustworthy? A well-structured layout builds trust. A disorganized site makes visitors uneasy and doubtful. Is it user-friendly? Is it clear how to find the information I’m looking for? Slow, confusing sites drive visitors away. Appearances matter, whether it’s fashion or websites. If you want to make an impact, you need to create something that speaks to people’s curiosity. #WebDesign #FirstImpressions #UserExperience

We at Butter Studio believe that WordPress as a platform is not the secure choice in today’s day and age. There was a time when WordPress was a good choice for a website. Now, the security risks are too significant. And we as an industry of digital creatives need to build websites that are essentially impossible to hack.  How do we at Butter build website securely? Instead of building on WordPress, we work with the best-of-the-best web developers to build sites using a coding ethos called JAMstack. It’s the best for SEO, user experience, scalability, and cybersecurity. Here are a few reasons why: 🚪 1. No Open Doors: JAMstack sites don’t have open doors (servers) that hackers can easily break into, unlike WordPress, which relies on them. 👜 2. Less Baggage: JAMstack websites don’t carry a lot of baggage (databases and plugins) that hackers can target. Fewer parts mean fewer things that can go wrong. 🏗 3. Solid Walls: JAMstack serves solid, unchanging walls (pre-built files) that are tough for hackers to tamper with, unlike WordPress, which builds its walls on the fly. 🛠 4. Simple Upkeep: Maintaining a JAMstack site is like maintaining a simple house without a lot of complicated systems. It’s easier to spot and fix issues before they become problems. Building with JAMstack makes your website faster, more reliable, and but also much safer for your organization and website visitors. #JAMstack #WebSecurity #DigitalTransformation

Brand identity and digital design studio Butter Studio have crafted a playful and chic look for the Hamptons beachfront cafe, One Trick Pony. The project was commissioned by interior designer Shelly Sparks and model Candice Huffine, who envisioned a casual café-bar that resonates with a vibe of beach, wine, and coffee. Butter created a hand-drawn logo featuring a beach babe riding a pony, along with beach and pony-inspired illustrations — effectively capturing the cheeky, feminine, and beachfront aesthetic of One Trick Pony.
