Friday Mornin’ Post Jun 14, 2024 I love receiving and reading our local newspapers (Mason City and Clear Lakes) and catching up on all the local news.  The sound of the paper crinkling when opening and turning the pages, the smell, the pictures of kid’s, families, businesses, sports, calendar of events, editorials, etc. It’s important we know what is going on within our communities, to celebrate our communities and the persons that get their name in the newspapers. Pick up the phone call them , write them a handwritten note and let them know how proud you are of them (Keep the temptation away from a text) Local newspapers are critical part of keeping our community together. Unfortunately there is bad news in the paper because we are all messy. But let’s all focus on the good and it will make us all a closer and a more healthy community. Go out get your local newspaper and get in the habit of being more part of your community! Just be happy…and have fun!😀

Friday Mornin’ Post June 7, 2024 Have you ever thought it is a blessing that you don’t know everything and your mind will never know everything?  There are many times daily I wish I had more knowledge, I try just like all of you, but I simply do not have the experience, vision and capacity in my brain. However, We all have people in our life; family, friends, business and acquaintances that provide sound guidance, love, security, compassion and help us forgive ourselves. If we knew everything it would be a lonely and dark world.  Be thankful all day long that you do not know everything and never will!!!  We need each other and that bond for our existence is a necessity for our well-being.  Healthy relationships enrich our lives more than our knowledge and possessions. Have a lovely weekend friends and family😀

Friday Mornin’ Post May 30, 2024 Are you seeking true joy in your life and somehow whatever you do it doesn’t seem to arrive deep in your soul?   Do you know of someone that possesses great joy from within?   I know of a few and here is the common denominator from my diagnosis. They are great servants. They enjoy thinking and doing for others that adds value to others' lives first and foremost. They fully understand that their life is not about them. They live an abundant life sharing their God -given talents and gifts to serve and spreading joy, hope, peace, love and forgiveness to and for others. Not ever judging.  Speaking of forgiveness, it is impossible to experience deep joy within your soul without forgiving.  Holding a grudge or anger towards someone is detrimental to your well-being. Therefore if you want more  joy within your life,  seek to serve and add value to others and please forgive!   Have a lovely weekend friends and family!😀
