The upcoming Pan-American Conference on Unsaturated Soils (June 22-25, 2025, in Ottawa) is exciting because it will spotlight themes related to partially saturated frozen soils and permafrost. The conference will feature plenary lectures by distinguished experts in cold regions science and engineering, including Dr. Riccardo Rigon from the Università di Trento, Dr. Daichao Sheng from the University of Technology Sydney, and Dr. Xiong Zhang from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
