We are thrilled to announce Carol as our October Employee of the Month! Joining Canyon on November 1, 2022, Carol has been an integral part of our Bullhead City and Laughlin branches as ADON. Recruited to help start up the new branch as the Intake RN, Carol chose Canyon after reading amazing reviews from both past and current employees. She loves the family-oriented atmosphere, describing it as one big happy family without the loud, drunk uncle. Her passion for helping others during their most vulnerable times, particularly ensuring comfort and dignity for those at the end of life, shines through in her work. Carol has a special place in her heart for veterans. Since joining Canyon, Carol has developed strong leadership skills, thanks to the patience and guidance of her exceptional DON. Motivated by her team, Carol strives to be both a leader and a friend, ensuring her colleagues feel appreciated and supported. Outside of work, Carol enjoys spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, who are her heart. A little-known fact about Carol is that she believes she was escorted home by a guardian angel when she had pneumonia at age 8. If she could only eat one meal for the rest of her life, it would be chicken and dumplings with her boss’s homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert—pure heaven! We are incredibly proud to have Carol as part of the Canyon family and appreciate her dedication and positive spirit.

Greg joined Canyon Home Care & Hospice about two years ago and has made a significant impact as a Physical Therapist at our Roosevelt, UT branch. He appreciates the positive, patient-first attitude of his co-workers, which contributes to the supportive and collaborative work environment here. Greg values the flexibility that home health provides, allowing him to tailor his approach to meet the needs of each patient. Driven by the support of his family and colleagues, Greg is motivated to give his best every day. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and keeping up with their children's various activities. A fun fact about Greg is that he can fold a fitted sheet—a skill not everyone possesses! If he could have a superpower, he would choose the ability to pause time, so he could cherish every moment with his family and maintain good health.
