Our partners at Hispanic Federation - NC are happy to announce a funding opportunity of $10,000 grants for ten NC Latine-led* non-profits working to improve health outreach and education in rural Latine communities. This one-year grant aims to increase Medicaid/ACA enrollment and provide health access information, promoting health equity for these historically underserved populations. HF also seeks to enhance the use of HF-NC’s bilingual Hotline, which assists with Medicaid and ACA information, enrollment support, and finding low-cost or free health resources. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply to further their impact on rural Latine communities in North Carolina. For more information and to apply, please visit: https://bit.ly/4f7kkdH . Applications are due on 7/29. For questions regarding this opportunity please contact Sarai Serrano at sserrano@hispanicfederation.org *Latine-led nonprofits are those whose leadership team is Latine or more than 50% of their board members are Latine. (Please note that Care Share is not affiliated with this grant. The purpose of this post is to share the opportunity.)
