Care Access has entered into a strategic partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). We’ll be working with the HHS’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to enhance pandemic preparedness in the U.S. and foster equitable access to health research, ensuring that all communities benefit from life-saving treatments and preventative health measures during future public health emergencies. The partnership will leverage Care Access’s decentralized clinical research nationwide capabilities so that in times of crises, like the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. can rapidly validate and implement medical countermeasures outside of the hospital setting. Together with Aotearoa Clinical Trials, we are creating more access to clinical research for communities throughout New Zealand.
We are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration between Aotearoa Clinical Trials (ACTT) and Care Access (USA). This partnership aims to enhance the clinical research landscape in New Zealand by utilising Care Access’s decentralised capabilities. Together, we will improve access to clinical trials for diverse and often remote communities across New Zealand. #DecentralisedClinicalTrial capabilities allow parts of the clinical trial to be conducted remotely, outside of traditional research centres or hospitals. This means that participants can often take part from their homes or local clinics instead of having to travel to a central location. The goal is to make it easier and more convenient for people to participate, especially those living in remote or underserved areas. This approach can use technology like mobile health apps, telemedicine, and home health devices to collect data and monitor participants. This collaboration represents a significant step towards making clinical research more inclusive and accessible for all New Zealanders. Key highlights of this partnership include: - Expansion of decentralised trials, bringing research directly to patients. - Integration with Care Access’s global network, enhancing trial accessibility. - Commitment to a community-based, patient-centric approach. - Efficient infrastructure to accelerate trial timelines. 📰 Read more about the partnership here https://lnkd.in/dQsJRq7d
