Career+ presents a compelling example of how work-based learning (WBL) can effectively develop the workforce and open avenues for students in high-demand, high-wage fields. This initiative, is a community partnership supported by Community Colleges, Higher Education, regional employers and K12 schools systems. It is a local ecosystem connecting students, schools, and employers, emphasizing the alignment of education with in-demand skills, and helping students develop pathways to in-demand careers with opportunities for debt-free education.
