CASA of Galveston County is the proud recipient of a grant from the Texas Bar Foundation to assist youth in understanding their rights under the CPS Rights of a Children and Youth in Foster Care in Texas. Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $27 million in grants to law-related programs. Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation's largest charitably-funded bar foundation. CASA, through our volunteer advocacy efforts, explore these rights with the children and youth in age-appropriate ways and will use these funds to develop a bingo game to better ensure a true understanding of their rights for the children. Thank you for your support! Every Child Has a Chance - it's YOU! #CASAgalveston
