Last Friday was PINK OUT DAY! To wrap up Breast cancer Awareness Month, we turned campus pink for a day. While we raise funds and awareness throughout the month of October, this cause has always been important at Cascade. Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among women in the United States. It is the 2nd leading cause of death from cancer among women. Early detection and screenings are key to combating breast cancer. With The Pink Cart and our other internal fundraising activities, Cascade continues to raise awareness to help kick breast cancer to the curb!

Cascade Engineering hosted the 13th Annual Young Professionals of Color Conference this week, where over 120 attendees gathered for a day of programming and speakers designed to address topics surrounding this year's theme of Building Belonging. We are incredibly honored to be able to share this space with bright, like-minded individuals that are making a difference in West Michigan. This year's conference would not be possible without our event host, Grand Valley State University, and our platinum sponsor, Corewell Health. Thank you to all who attended and made this event an incredible success!
