  • Last week, school psychologists from across California came together for CASP’s Legislative Action Days, advocating for meaningful change and championing policies that support the students and families we serve. It was truly inspiring to see such a strong, united voice pushing for initiatives that align with our 2025-26 legislative platform. A special thank you to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise with our group: Dawn Adler, Legislative Director for Assembly Member Sharon Quirk-Silva; Nancy Brynelson, Co-Director of Statewide Literacy for the California Department of Education (CDE); Steve Sodergren, Executive Director of the BBS; and Debbie Look, Principal Consultant for the Assembly Education Committee. We also extend our gratitude to the Ball/Frost Group, CASP Legislative and Advocacy Committee, and event staff for their hard work on this occasion. Thank you to everyone who participated and made an impact!
