It’s a short trip back for today's #ThrowbackThursday! Come with us as we rewind to last week's MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2024 with some great shots from the show floor. In these photos, Patrick Walsh, Director of Strategic Accounts, Robert Lee, Regional Sales Manager, and Jim Joyce, Executive Vice President of Industrial, are standing inside a massive wheel loader bucket at the Komatsu Mining booth in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas Inc. and Caterpillar Inc. were also in attendance with impressive displays. Did you know that Castle Metals Industrial provides material specifically prepared for the mining industry? It’s true! Our 3310 and 4340 round bar is processed at our Hammond, Indiana plant (HA Industries) and then shipped to customers for use in continuous miners and other underground mining equipment. We also specialize in metals for above-ground machinery. In fact, our 4340 and 4140 steel grades are commonly supplied for track pins on excavators and dozers. Remember, MINExpo INTERNATIONAL only happens once every four years. If you missed us at this year's show, don’t worry—you can always reach out to our team for support or for a quote!
