  • 🌍💚 **International Stress Awareness Day - November 6, 2024** 💚🌍 As we approach International Stress Awareness Day, let’s take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental well-being in our lives and workplaces. Stress is a universal experience, but how we manage it can make all the difference. This year, let's commit to fostering a culture of openness and support. Here are a few ways we can all contribute: 1. **Prioritize Mental Health**: Encourage conversations about mental health and stress management techniques.    2. **Promote Work-Life Balance**: Advocate for policies that support flexible working arrangements and time off for mental health. 3. **Share Resources**: Whether it’s mindfulness apps, wellness workshops, or simply sharing your own strategies, let’s equip each other with tools to cope. 4. **Practice Self-Care**: Remind ourselves and others that it’s okay to take a break, recharge, and seek help when needed. Remember, a healthy workforce is a productive workforce. Let’s support one another in creating a more resilient, stress-free environment. #StressAwarenessDay #MentalHealthMatters #WellbeingAtWork #SupportEachOther #CCCC #MentalHealth #Therapy #Counseling #Therapist #Admin #WashingtonDC #Maryland #Virginia #Hiring

  • ✨ Staff Spotlight: Meet Marissa Walia, SSW! ✨ Happy Monday, everyone! 🌟 We are excited to share another #StaffSpotlight featuring one of our incredible team members here at CCCC. Today, we're highlighting Marissa Walia, a Supervised Social Worker (SSW) and a valued member of our Clinical and Community Professional Development Program (CCPDP). This program is dedicated to nurturing the growth of early career clinicians in social work, professional counseling, and marriage and family therapy. Marissa also serves on our Marketing Team, where her strategic insights have been instrumental in strengthening our initiatives in Virginia. Reflecting on her time with us, Marissa shared that one of her favorite CCCC memories was “walking into the Juneteenth event on my very first day, not knowing anyone, and ending up winning a raffle. It was quite the initiation into the practice! I also love every chance I get to see team members in person since I live so far away.” We are grateful to Marissa for her dedication to CCPDP, her commitment to fostering community connections, and her valuable contributions to our marketing efforts. Thank you, Marissa, for pushing our values forward and making a positive impact both within and beyond our practice.
