Our Founder, Rob Bergquist had the honor of running the 15th Annual Run To Home Base this past weekend supporting the mission of Boston Red Sox Home Base foundation. Home Base’s mission is to heal the invisible wounds of war for Veterans, Service Members, and their families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education, and research. Established in 2009 by the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital, it aims to provide these services at no cost, ensuring access to high-quality care and support for all affected by military service, regardless of discharge status or geographical location. Cell Phones For Soldiers is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services and emergency funding to active-duty military members and veterans. Since 2004, the charity has provided more than 400 million minutes of air time to servicemen and women deployed around the world, by recycling more than 25 million cell phones reducing the impact on landfills. Cell Phones for Soldiers’ program Helping Heroes Home, which provides emergency funding to Veterans in need, has supported more than 7,500 Veterans and their families.
