Manager of Credit Union Service Delivery Matthew Kolen, MBA became captivated by the game of football at the age of 7. “It was the teamwork, the thrill of the sport and the physical activity that really drew me in,” Matt said. “As a student athlete, I had coaches who modeled a strong work ethic and good sportsmanship and that instilled resiliency and discipline in me.” From a young child participating in youth leagues, to a Division 1 athlete playing quarterback at Villanova University, Matt’s love for football continues today. He currently serves as an assistant football coach at New Hope-Solebury High School in New Hope, Pa., and has spent more than 20 years as a football coach at the elementary, middle and high school levels. “I was excited when I learned that Cenlar now offers volunteer time off (VTO) and gives employees a paid day off to donate their time to support the local community,” Matt said. Matt used his volunteer time off to participate in a panel interview to help the hiring team at New Hope-Solebury High School interview candidates for a head football coach position. As a result of his input and time spent participating in the interview, the position was filled. “My VTO day gave me a chance to give back to my community,” Matt said. “I used my knowledge of the sport and experience playing football and coaching to ask the right questions to select a candidate with the technical expertise and enthusiasm to motivate high school athletes.” New Hope Solebury High School is close to Matt’s heart. Four of his children graduated from the school and one is currently enrolled. His tie to the football team is even stronger—three of his sons played football for the school and his daughter was an athletic trainer for the football team. With solid connections to the high school, Matt wanted to make sure the student athletes are in good hands. hashtag#CenlarIsSubservicing hashtag#cenlar hashtag#cenlarfsb hashtag#giveback

Congratulations to Resolution Assurance Manager Raffaela Lesher and Internal Audit Director Brandon Thomas on receiving the Claudia Moore-Wallace Annual Award. The Claudia-Moore Wallace Annual Award was established in 2023 and is the highest recognition bestowed to an employee. The award is named in memory of former employee Claudia Moore-Wallace, a proactive trainer, coach and mentor who tirelessly upheld Cenlar’s core competencies. To be eligible for the award, employees must have received the True Blue Quarterly Award during the year. “The Claudia Moore-Wallace Annual Award was established to recognize employees who align their actions with our core values each and every day,” said CEO and President David Schneider. “Employees like Raffaela and Brandon don't just talk about the core values, they put them into practice in their interactions with colleagues, clients, and homeowners.” Raffaela, who leads a team of Resolution Assurance Analysts, is a game changer and an innovator who challenges the status quo. She has a knack for addressing complex challenges in innovative ways. Her empathy and work ethic converge to create a supportive and respectful work environment where everyone is valued, every voice is heard and kindness is the foundation. Brandon is a sought-after subject matter expert who prioritizes the needs and satisfaction of internal and external clients while maintaining a steadfast focus on our homeowners’ best interest. When Brandon encounters an issue, he works diligently to pinpoint a resolution. He runs most of the independent reporting for the department and is the point person for logic reviews. No matter how much he is juggling, Brandon is always quick to respond – either offering resources or hands-on support. He is accountable for his tasks yet empowers others by distributing the decision-making command. #CenlarIsSubservicing #cenlar #cenlarfsb
