We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supports CICC's mission. Your generosity is not just a donation; it's a catalyst for change. It fuels our work, providing resources to early childhood educators and creating inclusive spaces where every child is valued. Your contributions are not just appreciated; they are making a real difference in the lives of these children and educators. One provider recently shared, "I realized how valuable of a resource the CICC program is to be able to have someone come in with a new set of eyes just to see how things are going and then provide feedback and strategies that we can use to move forward." Your belief in this work makes stories like this possible. Thank you for being a vital part of our community and helping us move forward together. #cicc #childdevelopment #childrensmentalhealth #earlychildhoodeducation #parentsupport

Why does playtime feel like magic to kids? It's because play is where the real learning happens! From stacking blocks to banging drums, every game and activity helps kids build essential thinking skills—like problem-solving, patience, creativity, and focus. Plus, play is such a fun way for kids to explore math, science, and even storytelling, all on their terms. This is why we created our tip sheet, "How Play Promotes Cognitive Development." It is packed with ideas on how to turn everyday play into meaningful learning moments. And guess what? It's available in English, Spanish, and Somali so that every caregiver can experience the joy of play-based learning. 👉 Download the tip sheet here! https://lnkd.in/gEn8vCVq #inclusionmatters #earlychildhood #childdevelopment #learningthroughplay #ece

Halloween can be a magical evening, but for some children, it may come with a few challenges. Here are some simple tips to help your little one have a fun and safe Halloween: 🎃 Pick bright or reflective costumes so they’re easily seen while trick-or-treating. 🎃 Make sure masks or hoods don’t block their vision to avoid trips and falls. 🎃 Take a practice walk of the trick-or-treat route during daylight to ease nerves. 🎃 Ensure their costume is comfy and free of tripping hazards—Halloween is about fun, not frustration. Have fun tonight, and be safe! https://lnkd.in/ggJ46piJ #inclusionmatters #childdevelopment #toddlerplay #earlychildhoodeducation
