About us

Central Illinois Foodbank, established in 1982 by a coalition of churches, distributes over 9 million pounds of food annually to 140 food pantries, soup kitchens, residential programs and after-school programs in a 21 county region. Central Illinois Foodbank is a proud partner foodbank of Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization, and is a United Way certified agency.

  • Join us for Hickory Point Bank’s Back-to-School Cereal Drive! 🥣 Hickory Point Bank is holding this event to raise awareness on hunger, pull the community together and support our kids as they go back to school! 🎒📚 This year, our goal is to collect 3,000 boxes of cereal to provide 36,000 breakfasts for kids! Bring a box (or a few!) of cereal, breakfast bars, oatmeal, etc. and make a difference in our community.
