The construction of COPC’s upcoming Reynoldsburg Medical Center is quickly wrapping up. I’m very thankful for the supportive teamwork provided by our partners throughout this project. Our medical offices that are moving into this building have been hard at work preparing for this new location and I can’t wait for us to open the doors in late March! Our mission as an organization is to be The Best For Primary Care. Providing our Eastside patients with access to quality care in our brand new facility will do just that. Last week, over 1,100 central Ohio high schoolers learned from clinical experts about some of the most vital #career paths in #healthcare at the Healthcare Career Connection Summit. Hands-on activities engaged students as they learned about blood pressure, inserting IVs, the power of radiology scans, and much more! This event highlighted #medicalassistant, #registerednurse, #respiratorytherapist, #radiologictechnologist and #surgicaltechnologist roles. We were thrilled by the questions, conversations, and connections made at this event and are hopeful many students will be inspired by what they learned. It has been an honor for COPC to be involved in supporting this event and an active member of the Central Ohio Healthcare Sector Partnership (COHSP). COPC is a proud collaborator in the Central Ohio Healthcare Sector Partnership (COHSP). The mission of this employer-led group is to inspire emerging talent to pursue #healthcare #career paths that are most needed in #centralOhio. We are excited to announce that on March 7, we are co-hosting an inaugural career exploration event for over 1,200 high school students from over 20 school districts across central Ohio. The event will feature priority healthcare occupations such as registered #nurses, radiology techs, and certified medical assistants. We are so thrilled to participate in the education and hands-on learning students will experience!
