Well, it took some time and careful attention to change out the idle tubes and down channel restrictors in the carburetor, but the Quadrajet is now able to provide a streetable idle of 650rpm in Drive with the A/C on. A bit more tweaking on the choke setting and primary side A/F ratio and it should be perfect.

Construction and installation finally completed after coping with some material delays. Four cabinet doors milled with #InfinityCuttingTools glass door router bit set that yield the grain matching retainer strip for the glass install. The lower doors are 46 inches tall so the riftsawn walnut from #BrazosForestProducts came through on providing straight, stable stock. Crown molding did a nice job of concealing the LED lighting above the painting and the drawer dividers help keep those beverage bottles upright. The wine cooler is right at hand and interior multi-color LEDs can match the mood of the event. A standout piece for years of enjoyment.
