Last week was BUSY to say the least but in all of the best ways possible! - I was able to attend my first Chapman Partnership NextGen Council meeting - so excited to build my relationships with this group and Chapman Partnership💓 - Enjoyed a successful end of the season celebration with the entire Miami Marlins and loanDepot park front office staff at Cerveceria La Tropical 🍺 - Went out after a devastating loss in our Front Office Softball Series championship game to support Rebecca Whitaker and Leadership Miami's Conn3ct_305 at Fun Dimensions🕹️ - Caught up with some Change 4 Dade teammate's, Matthew W. Tieman & Luisaura Alvarez, M.S., over dinner before heading to support IMPACT4MIA's Happy Hour 🥂 - Enjoyed an incredible evening benefiting Amigos For Kids - huge thank you to Cristina Miller with Intermedia Touch for being the absolute best and inviting me to join your table🎵 - Rounded out the weekend at the Marlins Triple Play 5K presented by UHealth - if you know me, you know I am simply not a runner, but I love supporting a good cause and cheering on my friends (I do have proof that I at least ran to the finish line, I promise!) - Shoutout to Jessica Osman for putting together an incredible event🏅 #Miami #Community #Leadership #GiveBack #LeadershipMiami #Marlins #MLB

🌟 Honored and Thrilled 🌟 I am beyond excited to share that I've been awarded the Badass Woman of the Year in Sports Award by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce! 🏆 This recognition isn't just a personal milestone—it's a celebration of the incredible journey that women in sports are forging every day. What made it even more special was that our President of Business Operations, Caroline OConnor, was able to present this award to me and a $1,000 donation was made to the incredible non-profit organization, Be Strong International in my name! From organizing impactful events to championing causes close to my heart, my passion for sports goes beyond just the game. Leadership Miami ✔️🎓 Reflecting on a few things I learned throughout the course of this 100-day program and being a part of Change 4 Dade, 🎉 Find the fun - advice given to me on day one from Cristine Love Hernandez who ended up being my team’s Lead Facilitator (and the newest Facilitator of the Cohort). You aren’t going to love every moment of this program but it’s in those moments when it’s most important to find the fun. ⚾️ Not everyone works in the same type of environment as you - working in baseball is consistent craziness so we’re used to having to stay on our toes while balancing numerous tasks and deadlines. 🏆 The true reward is being able to pay things forward - watching the young men who will be staying in the youth dorm we created get the most excited over new boxers and socks puts everything into a different perspective.
