Thank you to our team at the Allen Steam Station in Gaston, NC for stepping up to support their local community. When Charah Solutions’ employee Steve Wray asked for support helping a local church with pressure washing and other outside cleanup, he had more volunteers willing to participate than he expected. And when our Duke teammates heard about the opportunity, they asked if they could come out and help too! The group spent the morning at the Corner Stone Baptist Church in Shelby, NC using the company’s pressure washer while leading by example. At the beginning of the year, Charah Solutions Vice President of Operations Chris Emory, PMP, MBA challenged our teams to sow seeds that have positive outcomes and interactions, and this was a great example of our team members delivering “Service Above All” each and every day. Great job! #ServiceAboveAll #communityservice #givingback

In this Energy Central article “Innovation is Key in Addressing the Increased Need to Decommission and Repurpose Power Plants” Scott Reschly, President of Charah Environmental Redevelopment Group, LLC, explains why having the right partner who can innovate is key to the success of each decommissioning project.
