Charleston Business & Brews

Philanthropic Fundraising Services

Lowcountry SC networking event featuring guest speakers covering business, economic development, tourism, brewing, etc.

About us

A Follywood Productions event, Business and Brews is a casual, professional monthly networking social for community-engaged professionals in the Lowcountry South Carolina area that meets once per month from 5-7:30pm. Each meeting has a 10-15 minute presentation by a local community leader, and the speaker can take Q&A afterwards. B&B is free to attend and open to the public. Business & Brews is “business casual,” and professionals from all walks of life are welcome. Our monthly speakers leave the PowerPoints and structured speeches behind and tell their stories in a laidback and fun atmosphere. So let your hair down, take that tie off, roll up your sleeves, grab a cold one and mingle with like-minded professionals who want to rub elbows with people who care about their community and the folks who make it a great place to live. B&B is currently looking for monthly sponsors for our August - December 2024 events. Past speakers include Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, Charleston Mayor William Cogswell, Barbara Melvin, Amy Heath, Ray Tanner, Graham Neff, Matt Roberts, Dave Echols, John Powell, etc. *By attending this event, you hereby consent to having your photo / likeness / recordings posted publicly and on social media.
