Our Co-Owners Steve, Nancy and Dan understand the importance of music. All of their kids play instruments, and Dan himself plays as well, "We have a connection. We're around it all the time." That's why it was important to team up with Vera Guitars to donate instruments to the music program at Palisades High School. Because every child should have the resources to pursue their passion and build that connection for themselves. WCCB was on site for the big reveal - and needless to say, the look on their faces was the highlight of our year. https://lnkd.in/esMcgGkS

In the last 20 years, we have installed 6,300 miles of duct work. That's over 33.2 million (yes, million) feet of carefully planned and placed ductwork that brings heating and cooling to residents, employees and more. And while most of this work may never be seen by those who use it the most, it's an accomplishment we are proud of. To all of our employees and labor force partners - thank you for your amazing, important work.

In the last 20 years, we have placed 10,000 miles of pipe within our projects across the Carolinas. If all that pipe was laid end to end, it would reach from Charlotte, North Carolina to Seattle, Washington... and back... and to Seattle again. And we'd still have some pipe leftover. We'd like to give shoutout to all of our employees and labor force partners who have been a part of building this legacy for the last two decades. Thank you!

In 1989 our Safety Manager, Roland, lost everything when Hurricane Hugo hit the Carolinas. After hearing about the damage in Western NC, Roland led the efforts with Charlotte Mechanical and our teams to act quickly and collect supplies. When we all pitch in, it’s amazing how much we can do to help those in need. If you know Roland, you know he is someone who deeply cares about people and their safety. Thank you, Roland, for spearheading this collective effort for our team, and for our neighbors in Western NC. ❤️ YMCA of Greater Charlotte
